thanks giving
what a great holiday. there is no pressure to buy stuff. no celebration that is only observed by some religions. no reputation for parties that gets out of hand...its about getting together with family and eating really good food. and being thankful for it. im thankful for family. and thankful for my moms awesome cooking. thankful that i have a family that loves me. and that we have the means to be able to fill our bellies until bursting and then add dessert.
and thats how simple it is. and for all the days of the year that we dont sit down and think about it... how really great weve got it... one weekend is surely not enough.
and even if the day comes that we dont have family or food... we would certainly still need a weekend to reflect on all that were thankful for... because really- theres so much.
