Summer Road Trip!
Finally some photos and recognition that we are back!As was to be expected, we goofed and left the cord to hook the camera to the computer at my moms place. So we had to wait until this week to be able to put our pictures up.
So here is the quick summery...
We drove our Jetta on its first official road trip
We went to my mom and step-dad's place in Enderby, BC
It only looks this great because my step dad almost killed himself (literally) staining the place this summer
We spent lotsa time at the BEACH
note: look how pink Frank is already when finally succumbing to my pleas to put on sunscreen
We took a trip to Nelson
And took a ferry to get there
Which was free.
only people who travel frequently to/from the island will appreciate that

And had an all around great time with the Eckerts!
We went back to Enderby where I took up sewing
So I borrowed my moms and made a new duvet cover out of some cheap raw organic cotton my mom found in a local shop
Then we came back to Victoria and back into the grind of things.
Wow. One can really make a super fun trip seem fairly boring and straight forward if only told in a few short sentences.
But actually it was an AWESOME trip. It was super hot and sooo relaxing.
Cant wait to do it again!
